SENIOR’S ENTERTAINMENT

One of the greatest joys in my work and perhaps the most rewarding, is hosting special events and get togethers for seniors. I draw immense pleasure in transporting them back to by-gone eras that held the greatest joy for them and reconnecting them to the treasured ‘care-free’ chapters of their lives.

I bring along a professional sound system and roll out the music that ignites a spark in them. I wear a head mic so that I am able to move around the room and engage with the audience as I guide them through movement and singing. It is a delight watching them joyfully engage in the music that lights them up. I love to see them smile, let go and enjoy themselves and it often brings a tear to my eye – sometimes I think I was born in the wrong era!
